Our Fall event is here, the only product conference event this year that allows “YOU” the attendee to determine who the speakers will be! We call this an “Unconference Event”, one of a kind in DFW!
This year we are very pleased to announce that our unconference event will be held outdoors! Hence, Product in the Park:)
Attendees should expect a day full of incredible product content generated by the extraordinary local DFW product community, as well as networking, raffles, and let’s face it…everyone’s favorite – FOOD!

What’s an Unconference Event?
An unconference is a conference organized, structured and led by the people attending it. Instead of passive listening, all attendees and organizers are encouraged to become participants, with discussion leaders providing moderation and structure for attendees.
At the unconference event, no topics have been predetermined, no keynote speakers have been invited, no panels have been arranged. Instead, the event lives and dies by the participation of you and other attendees.
You decide what topics will be discussed and we will convene the individual breakout sessions. In other words, an unconference has no agenda until the participants create it.
At Product Camp Dallas everyone participates in some manner: presenting, leading a discussion, showcasing a best practice, or sharing their experiences.
Others help with logistics, securing sponsorships, organizing sessions, or setting up/cleaning up. This is a self-organizing collaborative event that is designed be a fun, rewarding and a unique experience.

Pitch-off
A 30-second pitch of an idea used as the topic of a breakout session. Participants vote for the topics they wish to see. Gamification elements make the event fun and interactive.
Networking
An opportunity to meet new individuals one-on-one and to interact with people that have shared interests. Job seekers and mentors!
Breakout Schedule
A schedule based on votes. 3-4 talks will occur at the same time. Participants are encouraged and have the ability to move from “room to room” freely.
